Volunteers are music to our ears

Hurst Coffman[/caption]

Volunteers are appreciated and celebrated all year long at Topeka Presbyterian Manor, but during April, we recognize their contributions.

Volunteer Hurst Coffman has been a volunteer for 38 years. He comes twice a month to play the piano in the main dining room as the residents sing along. He plays popular, older songs that our residents remember.

When Hurst is not volunteering, he works full-time as a lawyer. Despite his busy schedule, he visits Topeka Presbyterian Manor year-round, and in December, hosts a Christmas sing-along in our chapel.

Thank you, Hurst, for volunteering, and for bringing the sweet sound of music to our staff and residents.
