Major renovation project begins at Topeka Presbyterian Manor

On Jan. 16, Topeka Presbyterian Manor and Harbin Construction kicked off a $1.6 million renovation project.Work on the 17-acre campus will include a redesign and remodel of the main entrance, common areas, dining rooms and the library. Construction will create separate dining and event spaces for residents in independent and assisted living.

Director of nursing feels at home at the Presbyterian Manor

Jodi Broxterman’s decision to join the staff of Topeka Presbyterian Manor came down to a feeling.“The Presbyterian Manor just felt homey when I came here for my interview,” said Jodi, who serves as the health care director of nursing. She joined the staff last May.Jodi has spent most of her 23-year career in long-term care. She was a CNA in high school before becoming a CMA.
