Local senior artist creates landscapes, portraits

Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, Topeka Presbyterian Manor did not hold its Art is Ageless® competition this year. We still received some wonderful submissions, and we want to celebrate the talent of local senior artists. This month, we’re sharing work by Carrie Magill, who entered two watercolor pieces and one pastel.A beautiful view from the turnpike between Topeka and Lawrence inspired Carrie to paint “Kansas Vista” (shown at top, right).

We'll post a new event page when we have a new date.Topeka Presbyterian Manor has issued a call for entries for the Art is Ageless® juried exhibit to be held April 6 – 9, 2020. Entries of artistic works will be accepted from any area artist who is 65 years of age or older to exhibit and/or compete for an opportunity to be featured in the 40th anniversary Art is Ageless calendar in 2021.Artists may choose to enter the exhibit only.
